What we collect
- Account details you provide — name, email address, and (optionally) phone number — used to create and secure your account and to send sign-in links or codes.
- Learning progress — lessons completed, responses, collected items, and streaks — so your journey is saved across devices.
- Anonymous usage analytics — a random device identifier and event counts (pages opened, chapters read) with no name or email attached — used to understand and improve the experience.
Why we collect it (legal basis)
We process account and progress data to provide the service you request (performance of a contract) and analytics to improve it (our legitimate interest, or your consent where required).
Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. We use trusted processors to run the service: our database and hosting providers (Neon, Cloudflare, Vercel), email delivery (Resend), SMS delivery (Twilio), and AI/voice providers (Anthropic, ElevenLabs) for generated content. Each processes data only to provide their function.
How long we keep it
Account and progress data are kept while your account is active. You may request deletion at any time (see “Your rights”). Anonymous analytics are retained in aggregate.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, export, correct, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. Signed-in users can export their data or delete their account from account settings, or contact us. We respond to verified requests within the time your law requires.
Cookies & storage
We use a session cookie to keep you signed in and browser storage to remember your reading settings and offline progress. Analytics identifiers are not used to build cross-site profiles.
